JAMMU, Mar 3: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has threatened Jammu shutdown for its demand of statehood restoration to J&K and to express resentment against the imposition of Property Tax.
In a press conference here today JWAM president, Sunil Dimple has urged upon the tall political leaders like Dr Farooq Abdullah, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Omar Abdullah, Altaf Bukhari and Mehbooba Mufti to join hands for getting back Statehood for J&K with special status as it was before August 5, 2019.
He said all the political leaders should unite on one platform of Mission Statehood leaving aside their political differences for six months.
The JWAM leader said that restoration of Statehood to J&K is must before the Assembly election and delimitation of Assembly and Parliament seats should be done before Assembly elections.
