JAMMU, Mar 4: Miran Sahib Police arrested a notorious drug peddler after 5 years.
As per police sources, a hardcore drug peddler-cum-absconder identified as Mohammad Amin, son of Imtaiz Ahmed of Darsopur RS Pura who was evading his arrest since 5 years in drug peddling case, has been arrested by Miran Sahib Police.
The arrest has been made in a case registered under FIR Number 133/2015 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act with Police Station Miran Sahib.
Police was looking for the person from last five years. Finally, an input was received through reliable source about the criminal.
Acting swiftly on the information, a special police team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Aijaz Wani under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan raided the suspected locations and arrested the criminal.
Further investigation is going on to enquire about various activities the accused has been involved into since 5 years.
