Safai Karamcharis Association holds protest

BHADERWAH, Mar 6: Demanding regularisation and implementation of Minimum Wages Act, All Safai Karamcharis Association held protest here today.
Amid slogans, the protesters passed through different markets of the town here.
The protest rally started from Pasri Bus Stand and after passing through Jamia Masjid Bazaar, Saraf Bazaar, Takiya Chowk, Seri Bazaar and Chobia Link Road concluded at Pasri Bus Stand.
The protest was led by President of the Association Mohammad Abbas.
The main demand of the protesters was their regularisation as soon as possible as they are working as casual labourers from the past 15 years and getting only Rs 6750 as monthly wages which is not enough for their survival. They also demand implementation to Minimum Wages Act.
With a warning to protest in aggressive manner, the protestors dispersed.
