Sir,
I would like to request the Government for implementing the Higher Education Department order No. 252 wherein the Govt. has accorded sanction for inclusion of the Off Campuses Degrees of different subjects of candidates who got enrolled in the said off campuses by or before 2005 in order to save the future of the aggrieved students.
It is worthwhile to mention here that during the regime of NC Government in Jammu & Kashmir first of it’s kind of off campus “Kawa” affiliated with Sikkim Manipal University was inagurated by the then Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah. Due to this, large number of students got enrolled themselves in that campus in different courses. At that time, the Govt. and did not bother to tell the students whether the said campus is recognized with Jammu University or not. Therefore, it was the fault of Govt. and not the student. Now the Govt have directed the SSRB to conduct the written exams for different posts which will clearly reveal the caliber of the students and will automatically choose the deserving candidate for the post. Therefore, in order to make this system more crystal clear, it is requested to Govt. to kindly implement the order No. 252 so that the aggrieved students which got enrolled by or before 2005 to enable them to get a chance to face the written test.
