JAMMU, Mar 8: Nowabad Police arrested a driver, who was involved in accident.
As per police sources, one unidentified man was killed after hit by a bus near Jewel area yesterday.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for identification.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Nowabad led by SHO Inspector Deepak Jasrotia seized the bus yesterday arrested the accused driver today.
The arrested driver was identified as Subash Chander, son of Shanker Dass, a resident of District Udhampur.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
