JAMMU, Mar 9: Senior leader of National Conference and former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said that the BJP Government at the Centre is insensitive towards most sensitive issue of fast rising prices of essential commodities.
Sadhotra was addressing a public meeting at Chakrali, a remotest border village in Marh constituency.
The NC leader said the unprecedented rise in prices has disturbed the budget of common man. “It has become very difficult to run kitchen for common man,” he said, adding, contrary to the tall claims of checking prices by the BJP in 2014, prices of daily use items are sky rocketing.
He said rise in prices of petroleum products has badly hit every house hold, farmers, daily commuters and transporters as due to unprecedented price rise of petrol, diesel and LPG, every daily use item has become costlier.
Sadhotra said every Indian is committed nationalist but it is unfortunate that BJP Government under the garb of Nationalism is covering up its biggest failure to check & reduce prices, which has made the life of common Indian miserable.
The former Minister asked the Government to take all effective measures to check and reduce prices so that common man could be brought out from this difficult and miserable situation.
A large number of people joined the National Conference on the occasion.
