SAMBA, May 27: The citizens as well as businessman of Vijaypur town held a demonstration under the leadership of Bharat Bhushan president Beopar Mandal regarding un-scheduled curtailment of electricity in Vijaypur town today.
The protestors said that due to the unscheduled curtailment of electricity the scarcity of drinking water is also faced by the people of Vijaypur town. They alleged that due to
the unscheduled power cut their business has totally disturbed.
The Deputy Commissioner Samba along with Executive Engineer Electricity M&RE Division Vijaypur assured the citizens and businessmen that the problem of power curtailment shall be solved within a week and also assured the problem of water scarcity also shall be solved at an earliest.
The businessmen who were present included Babal Gupta, Nikki Mahajan, Makhan Lal, Rocky Mahajan and Satish Sharma.
