JAMMU, May 27: NIIT Jammu Centre conducted “Career Mela” for the class 12th and graduate students guiding them for a right career advice in IT industry and also educating them about the new emerging career trends.
During the session, which was attended by many students, who have passed class 12th and students who have completed their college, NIIT Industry experts gave the right career advice to these students.
The students came to know about the emerging career trends, got professional counseling, attended career seminar and psychometric assessment.
The students came to know about the importance of computers in each and every career like in banking, engineering, telecommunication and IT industry.
Naveen Sharma, Education Business Head, NIIT Jammu laid stress on the vital role which IT plays in each and every sector. He further, added that as predicted by Nasscom in coming years India will require huge manpower with good IT skill set. He suggested the students to get into IT driven education, so that they grab the opportunities at the right time.
Shakun Sharma, Delivery Information Head, NIIT Jammu gave the career counseling to the students and their parents. She gave the tips to the students to choose the right career for them.
