JAMMU, May 27: For monitoring the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) in Jammu Kashmir, the Government has constituted four tier committees under ‘Noor Society’ at the level of State, division, district and school.
The State level committee will be headed by the Chief Secretary and comprised of Administrative Secretaries of Planning and Development, R&B and School Education, both the Divisional Commissioners, Chairman BOSE, State Project Director RMSA, Head Department of Education in JU as well as KU and eminent educationists.
The Divisional and District level committees will be headed by the concerned Divisional Commissioner and District Development Commissioner, respectively while the PRI Pradhan will head the school level committee.
Members of the Divisional level committee will be Director School Education, State Project Director RMSA, Chief Engineer R&B and State Coordinator RMSA. Additional DDC, SE R&B, AC Development, CEO, Principal DIET, State Coordinator RMSA and District Programme Coordinator RMSA will be members of the District level committee.
In School level committee, Municipal Councilor, School Management Development Committee and School Academic Committee representative will be the members.
