JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Mar 11: Jammu and Kashmir today reported one Corona fatality and 75 positive cases while 77 others recovered from the virus.
Ten Corona positive cases were reported in Jammu district while rest nine districts in the region didn’t report any fresh cases today.
Twelve persons recovered from the virus including seven in Jammu and five in Kathua district.
Jammu region now has 52156 Corona cases. Among them, 182 are active positive as 51245 have recovered from the virus and there have been 729 casualties in the region.
Maximum 377 casualties have been reported in Jammu district followed by 64 Doda, 57 Udhampur, 55 Rajouri, 53 Kathua, 40 Samba, 24 Poonch, 22 Kishtwar, 21 Ramban and 16 in Reasi district.
Meanwhile, 65 people today tested positive for COVID-19 while one person died of Corona in the Valley.
The person who died was suffering from COVID-19 and died today. With his death the death toll in Kashmir has gone up to 1240.
Those who tested positive include 39 from Srinagar, 4 Baramulla, 4 Budgam, 3 Pulwama, 8 Anantnag, 2 Bandipora, 3 Kulgam and 2 from Shopian.
With fresh cases, the number of cases in Kashmir division has reached to 75,207 including 73,253 recoveries and 1,240 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 896 including 714 from Kashmir division.
With 77 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 124,498, which is 97.77 percent of the total cases.
Meanwhile, 2 COVID positive cases were today reproted in Leh district of the UT of Ladakh.
The UT now has 41 active positive cases.
