JAMMU, Mar 12: A man was killed when a mini-bus hit him at BC Road here today.
As per police sources, a man identified as Swami Raj (60), son of Dhyan Chand, a resident of District Doda was seriously injured when a mini-bus hit him at BC Road.
He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of GMCH for autopsy.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Bus Stand and hunt has been launched to nab the driver, who managed to escape from the spot leaving behind the mini-bus, which was seized by the police.
