JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Mar 14: Again after gap of some days, the Coronavirus positive cases crossed three-digit mark in Jammu and Kashmir today with 105 positive cases including 80 in Kashmir and 25 in Jammu while 66 others recovered from the virus.
Among 25 COVID positives cases reported in Jammu region today, Jammu district alone accounted for 16 followed by three Udhampur, two each Reasi and Kathua and one in Rajouri district.
Fifteen persons recovered from the virus including 11 in Jammu district, three Udhampur and one in Rajouri.
Jammu region now has 52219 Corona cases. Among them, 212 are active positive while 51277 have recovered from the virus and there have been 730 casualties.
The casualties include 377 in Jammu district, 64 Doda, 57 Udhampur, 55 Rajouri, 53 Kathua, 41 Samba, 24 Poonch, 22 Kishtwar, 21 Ramban and 16 in Samba district.
Meanwhile, 80 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported from Kashmir today.
Those who tested positive include Srinagar 51 cases, Baramulla 8, Budgam 12, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 2, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 1, Kulgam 1 and Shopian 1.
Moreover, 66 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 51 from Kashmir valley.
There are 920 active cases including 708 in Kashmir.
No new Corona cases were today reported from the UT of Ladakh. The UT now has 31 active positive cases.
