Shiv Sena expresses concern over drying away of water resources at Bakal

JAMMU, Mar 15: Shiv Sena has expressed concern over the drying away of the water resources at Bakal area of Panchayat Sersundman in Lamsora.
In a press conference at Reasi, Ashwani Gupta, Shiv Sena president said people of Bakal area need irrigation facilities in their area because lack of such facility has left their fields barren.
He also said that many people of the area are poor and held construction of railway tunnel responsible for the problem.
Gupta claimed that administration knows about the problem but is doing nothing in this regard.
He said that to highlight the issue Shiv Sena took out a rally also.
Mangu Ram and Jarnail Singh, state secretaries; Sanjeev Sudan, R.S Pura president; Uttam Singh, district president Reasi; Nath Paul, working president; Raj Singh, general secretary; Ramesh Gupta, senior vice-president; Raju Salaria, vice president cum spokesperson; Sandeep Singh and others were also present in the press conference.
