JAMMU, Mar 16: Former Home Minister and senior leader of National Conference (NC), Najeeb Suharwardy today said that the revocation of Article 370 has spoiled the future of J&K and now they are forced to sit on protest to get employment.
In a statement issued today, Suharwady said that it is highly condemnable that the youth, who are eligible aspirants of Central Security Forces like CISF and BSF have been handled by the BJP led Central Government and the J&K Administration and police like criminals and they were detained from the spot where they were on peaceful protest since last 45 days.
“The high-headed BJP leadership of Jammu and Kashmir have not bothered that over two dozen youth from maximum areas of Jammu region were on demonstration for genuine demands of adjustment in CISF and BSF on merit,” Soharwady said and alleged that the youth were detained two days back by police on the instructions of BJP.
The NC leader said that this is the dark outcome of revocation of Article 370 and conversion of State to UT that youth of Jammu and Kashmir are forced to agitate for jobs they deserved on merit.
