JAMMU, Mar 16: Gharota Police seized illegal wooden logs and detained a driver.
As per police sources, during patrolling a team from Police Station Gharota intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02AG-5041.
During checking, police team seized 17 illegal wooden logs from the vehicle and detained the driver, who was identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Kanger, Tehsil Bhalwal, District Jammu.
Forest Department officials were informed for legal action under law.
Police team led by SHO Gharota Inspector Khyati Maan Khajuria seized the illegal wooden logs under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
