SAMBA, Mar 16: Ghagwal Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Ghagwal during checking at Tapyal intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing Registration Number JK02AU-7659.
During checking, police team rescued 18 bovines from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Mulkh Raj, son of Faquir Chand of RS Pura, district Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 64/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation started.
