Medical camp held at GDC Billawar

JAMMU, Mar 18: NSS Unit of Government Degree College Billawar in collaboration with ISM Department organized a free medical check-up camp for the students and teachers of the College.
The camp started with inaugural speech by the Principal Prof. Anita Jamwal in which she stressed upon female health and hygiene.
Then a lecture was delivered by Dr. Sabita Thakur on female health issues.
A team of doctors including Dr. Sabitya Thakur and Dr. Indu Bala and pharmacist, Pawan Sapolia from ISM Department under the supervision of Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM and ADMO, Dr. Ajay Tikko conducted free consultations and checkups in general health for the students and teachers.
About 156 persons were checked up in the Camp and were given free medicines.
At the end Principal GDC Billawar presented a vote of thanks to the staff of ISM Department.
The Camp was organized by Assistant Prof. Yash Paul, NSS PO and assisted by Assistant Prof. Raman Kumar and Assistant Prof Shiv Kumar Khajuria under the overall supervision of Principal, Prof Anita Jamwal.
