JAMMU, Mar 20: Kanachack Police arrested a motorcyclist and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK02BU-2183.
During checking, police team recovered 51 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Ravi Singh, son of Tarsem Singh, a resident of Chak Jaffer District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 38/2021 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
