Srinagar, May 30: Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKRTTF) has warned the State Government that it will launch a state wide strike if it fails to release the pending salaries of the teachers by June 5.
A spokesperson of the forum said that a meeting was held at Srinagar under its Chairman Gazi Abdul Aziz in which it was decided that the ReTs will take to streets at all district headquarters of the state and memoranda will be presented to the respective Deputy Commissioners on June 6.
Members who participated in the meeting were Farooq Tantray, Ashaq Rasool, Mohammad Iqbal, Mohammad Amin, Saleem Sagar, Assadullah, Muzzafar Rasool, Sheikh Parvez, Irshad Ahmad and Qazi Tasleem.
