UDHAMPUR, May 30: An Army Signal jawan died when the Motorcycle, he was riding collided with an Army Vehicle near Northern Command Gate, Chinar, Udhampur.
According to the reports, Motorcycle bearing registration number RJ02SC- 8187 on its way from Chinar to Signal Regiment collided with Army Vehicle (Jonga) 07N-003529P. The motorcyclist sustained critical wounds in the mishap and was rushed to Northern Command Military Hospital Udhampur, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Body of the deceased was later shifted to District Hospital Udhampur for Postmortem and then handover to the officers of the Army Signals Regiment.
Police registered the case.
