DTEA urges LG to resolve issues of Dharmarth Trust employees

JAMMU, Mar 23: The ongoing agitation and chain hunger strike of Dharmarth Trust Employees Association (DTEA) entered into 113rd and 86th day, respectively in support of their demand to constitute a public board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust.
On Tuesday, the striking employees organised a protest amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras. Speaking on the occasion, spokesperson of the Association, Rajinder Shastri alleged that some persons on key positions in the Trust were misguiding the trustee for their vested interests. He appealed to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene in the matter and resolve the demands of the employees of merging all temples under Dharmarth Trust with SMVDSB which was the part of Dharmarth Trust prior to 1986.
The persons who sat on hunger strike today include Shiva, Vinod, Rajat Dadwal, B P Singh, Balwant, Pt Shottu Ram, Parma, Faquir Chand, Mohan Lal and Bablu Singh.
Meanwhile a delegation of DTEA led by President Vivek Bandral met President of Chamber of Commerce and Industries Jammu Arun Gupta and gave him memorandum.
