JAMMU, Mar 25: Khour and Jogwan Police seized six vehicles, which were found engaged in illegal mining.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Khour led by SHO Balvinder Singh seized three vehicles, which were found engaged in illegal mining. Two drivers identified as Bishan Dass, son of Prem Nath of Tanda, Teshil Akhnoor District Jammu and Vijay Kumar, son of Partha Ram of Nawan-Khu Sohal, Tehsil Akhnoor District Jammu were also detained.
Meanwhile, a team from Border Police Post (BPP) Jogwan also seized three tractor trolleys, which were also engaged in illegal mining.
Department of Geology and Mining was informed about the seizure of the vehicles.
