RAMBAN, Mar 25: Police foiled bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Ramban laid a naka near Shan Palace on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and intercepted a load carrier bearing registration number JK19-8560.
During checking, police team rescued five bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Jamat Ali, son of Ammu Choudhary, a resident of Neera District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 41/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
