30 animal charred to death as fire breaks out in cattle shed

UDHAMPUR, Mar 26: Thirty domestic animals were charred to death when a cattle shed was completely gutted in accidental fire at village Chatriari in Basantgarh, here last night.
According to reports, fire broke out in the cattle shed of Bodh Raj, son of Chand, causing death of six cows, 10, oxen , 12 sheep and two goats. Cause of fire could not be ascertained.
On being informed, Basantgarh police registered the case for further investigation. Meanwhile, locals have appealed the District Administration to do needful in favour of poor sufferer who has lost livestock as well as cattle shed in the fire incident.
