MENDHAR, Mar 30: A balloon with Pak flag and PIA written on it, was recovered from a village near the Line of Control in Mankote sector of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that some people noticed the balloon in the sky and later it fell into the fields near Uchhad village, in Mankote sector of Mendhar Sub Division. The police and Army personnel received information and they reached the spot.

The police seized the balloon and started investigation. Balloon was white and green in colour and PIA had been written on it. Pak flag had also been depicted on it. The security agencies suspect some conspiracy or foul play behind the recovery of such balloons in the area. This is the third incident of recovery of such kind of balloon in the area near LoC within one month.
