KATHUA, Mar 31: Kathua police has seized two vehicles for illegal mining and handed over them to Mining Department for legal action.
Police said a team of Police Station (PS), Rajbagh under the supervision of SHO, Rajbagh in its jurisdictional area near Ujh river found few tractors were engaged in illegal mining and transportation of the mining material for construction purposes with out any permission.
The police swung into action and seized both the trolleys. Later they were handed over to the officials of the Mining Department, Kathua for further legal proceedings.
