Theft case worked out, accused arrested with stolen cash

JAMMU, Apr 1: Domana Police worked out a theft case with the arrest of the accused and recovery of stolen cash.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Domana regarding theft of a bag containing cash of around Rs 46000 on March 30, 2021.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 95/2021 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a special team led by PSI Younis Khanday under the guidance of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma was constituted.
The team rounded up several suspects and finally arrested the thief, who was identified as Waryam Singh, son of Saval Singh of Akalpur District Jammu.
On his disclosure, stolen bag containing Rs 46,150 cash was recovered.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
