KISHTWAR, Apr 1: Police arrested a drug peddler along with cannabis and illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kishtwar led by SHO Inspector Abid Bukhari under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Devindar Singh conducted raid in a shop at Hidyal and arrested a notorious drug peddler along with 350 grams cannabis and 66 bottles of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as namely Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Wali Mond of Matta District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 53/2021 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act and 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
