JAMMU, Apr 2: Yudhvir Sethi, vice president, J&K BJP today said that the success of party in winning hearts of people and decimating the opposition in polls solely depends on strength of party at Mandal level.
Sethi was addressing the BJP East Mandal’s meeting held to strengthen party at grassroots level and to chalk out arrangements and strategy for the upcoming events.
The meeting was presided over by Parveen Kerni, president BJP East Mandal. Vinay Gupta, district president, Ward Sanjojak and Shakti Kendra Pramukh, besides Jammu East Mandal Team were also present.
Yudhvir categorically said that the onus of party’s success lies with the ground level workers ability to connect with the masses and once this target is achieved and the people got the picture about BJP’s public-friendly policies, no power on earth can defeat the party in any form of political contest. He said that real ambassadors of the party are the ground level activists and that is the reason BJP is focusing on making its Mandals and booths vibrant and dynamic so that call from the top hierarchy of the party reaches out to the masses without any distortion or disturbance using help of these Mandal Karyakartas.
The senior BJP leader informed that around 5500 booths in the UT are rendering unrelenting services to people creating large space in the hearts of masses for BJP and its prolific policies. He said that in order to cherish the booth level workers, BJP has come out with a unique initiative wherein impressive stone carved nameplates will be installed outside the residence of every booth president besides party flags will be hoisted to inspire and encourage party activists to work with added zeal and selflessness.
Vinay Gupta asked the Mandal team to meet more and more people in the area and disseminate information about party’s people-centric ideology and the public welfare schemes in vogue so that no soul in the vicinity remains aloof of the benefit of the PM Narendra Modi-led government’s schemes and programmes.
