Srinagar, Apr 4: A Municipal Councillor from north Kashmir’s Sopore town, Akhtar Rasool Gilkar, resigned from National Conference today.
Gilkar said that in view of the recent attack and for some personal reasons, he has left the party and from now onwards he is not affiliated with any party.
He said that he has done this in view of the recent militant attack on counsellors in the town as he didn’t get any kind of help from administration or police.
