JAMMU, Apr 4: Baba Saheb Ambedkar Janseva Mela was organized by Baba Saheb BR Ambedkar Trust under the presidentship of Som Nath Banal here today.
This function was organized with the inspiration of Narinder Singh who always helped physically, financially and mentally.
Medical camp, banking services and carrier counseling were also part of Baba Saheb Janseva Mela. Hundreds of people following COVID-19 instruction participated in the mela.
While speaking on this occasion, Sham Lal Basson, Councilor Bahu Fort, Jammu said that Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar sacrificed everything for the cause of down-trodden and making modern India Mata Rama Bai Ambedkar scarified her four children namely Ramesh, Indu, Gangadhar and Raj Rattan for the sake of crores of dalit children.
“Dr BR Ambedkar was not only father of Indian Constitution, but has made great contributions to make modern India”, he added.
The trust had made arrangements for books stall.
Vinod Kumar Banal addressed the gathering and inspired the youths to come forward and establish income generating units. He threw light on the various contributions of Dr BR Ambedkar to make India stronger. He gave example of Hindu Code Bill for the equality of women.
Som Nath Bana, his wife Soma Devi, son Rahul Banal and daughter Neha Banal and office bearers of Buddhist Society of India J&K Unit played important role to organize this function. Office bearers of Bheem Army and Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan also extended their support to make this function successful.
Among others present were TR Azad, Sunita Bangotra, Rattan Lal Bangotra, Dr Rakesh Atri, Anil Boudh, Tarsem Moolnivasi, Sunita Angral, RL Jangral, Darshan Bhagat, etc.
