JAMMU, Apr 4: A meeting of Incharge Lecturers and Gazetted Incharge cadres of School Education Department was held which was convened by Amar Nath Thakur President Incharge Lecturers Forum and Chairman School Education Employees Co-ordination Committee (JKSEECC).
During the meeting, the speakers expressed their resentment and displeasure over non-convening of DPC meeting to regularize all incharge lecturers and gazetted officers of School Education Department.
All participants were of the view that department HRM cell authorities are non-serious about the regularization. They said that HRM Cell was created after SAC decision to regular all incharge cadres of School Education Department in a time bound manner as one time exemption but only one DPC meeting was convened and no meeting again has been convened to clear 600 expired, 4000 retired and 5000 serving incharge gazetted officers and lecturers.
While speaking, Thakur told that he has met Advisor to Lt Governor RR Bhatnagar and Administrative Secretary School Education Department many times and requested them to confirm all incharge gazetted officers and lecturers but nothing has been done in this regard till date. He said that all information as required have been submitted to HRM Cell many times, but the cell is adopting delaying tactics.
He on behalf of all cadre leaders has appealed to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary and Administrative Secretary to direct the HRM cell to immediately convene regularization committee meeting and issue regularization orders in one go.
In the meeting, it was decided that a joint delegation of all incharge cadres would approach Lt Governor’s secretariat and Chief Secretary’s office and Administrative Secretary again to request to issue regularization orders of all in one go in April 2021 before darbar move.
Abdul Rashid General Secretary of Headmasters Association and Ram Parkash Sharma President Principals Forum said a delegation will meet Director School Education Jammu and Administrative Secretary BK Singh and request them convene DPC meeting soon.
