JAMMU, Apr 4: Bishnah Police arrested a man for touching a minor girl inappropriately.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a family with Police Station Bishnah stating that a man identified as Ajay Verma, son of Kasturi Lal of Chak Wazira touched her minor daughter inappropriately.
Acting over the complaint, a case under Section 7/8 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) was registered at Police Station Bishnah and hunt was launched to nab the alleged accused.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Anil Choudhary under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan arrested the alleged accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
