Protest at Khwas after torching of sweet shop

RAJOURI, Apr 6: The family members of the victim, Ranjeet Singh, his relatives and some locals today held protest demonstration at Tehsil complex Khwas demanding immediate arreast of the miscreants behind the alleged incident of torching of sweet shop during early hours on Monday.
Report said that family members, relatives of Ranjeet Singh besides many villagers moved to the office of Tehsildar Khwas today and held protest. They were demanding immediate arrest of accused persons and relief in favour of victim family.
They alleged that it was handiwork of some miscreanrts and they have suspicion on some people, whose names have also been shared with local police as well. They said though police claimed to have now lodged an FIR but no action has been taken in this connection so far.
They further alleged that no relief from the District Administration Rajouri has been provided to the poor family. They demanded fair investigation into the case and relief from the Administration.
Later, Tehsildar assured the victim family that fair investigation into the case would be conducted and about relief, matter has been referred to the District Administration, Rajouri.
Sarpanch, Khwas, Gian Chand demanded that immediate relief be provided to the victim family, as they have lost everything kept at the shop during fire incident. He said family has shared inputs with the police and it must take due cognizance of the matter.
