JAMMU, Apr 6: In continuation to its `Webline Literature Series’, Sahitya Akademi New Delhi organized as Kavi Goshti (poetic meet) in which renowned Dogri poets recited their poems.
Girdhari Lal Rahi, Balwan Singh Jamoria, Puran Chand Badgotra and Tara Chand Kalandri recited their poems and enthralled the listeners.
Each poem, recited by the poets, gave mental penetration to the listeners about problems faced by the common folk and also suggested the remedial measures.
Programe started with welcome address by Dr N Suresh Babu, Deputy Secretary (Publication) Sahitya Akademi New Delhi, who underlined various steps taken by the Akademi to promote the regional language Dogri.
