JAMMU, Apr 6: To aware people about COVID protocol management, the Traffic Police today distributed masks among the people at various places in Jammu City and outskirts especially among those who were not wearing them.
At several places, the Traffic Police subjected vehicles to checking and offered masks to the people who were without any face cover. They also distributed sanitizer bottles among the travelers of vehicles as well as passes by with a view to spread COVID management protocol among them.
Traffic Police officials said distribution of masks among the people will encourage people to wear face covers while traveling in the vehicles which will help in preventing spread of Coronavirus.
Drive to distribute sanitizers and masks among travelers and passersby was carried out by the Traffic Police officials including Inspectors Atul Singh and Khushwant Singh under the supervision of SSP Traffic Jammu Shiv Kumar Sharma.
