JAMMU, Apr 7: A man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Dharam Khoo area here, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Parveen Singh, son of Kesar Singh of Dharam Khoo District Jammu. He was undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu since yesterday and breathed his last today morning.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Gharota Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
