SAMBA, Apr 8: District Administration Samba, on the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta, has taken stringent pan district measures against non adherence to COVID appropriate behaviour.
The team of revenue and police officers led by Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal, Ramkesh Sharma today inspected the main Ghagwal market area and imposed penalty to the tune of Rs 2300 on the offenders. The team also made the people aware about the observance of COVID-19 SoPs and following COVID appropriate behaviour for containing its spread.
District administration has warned against non adherence to the Covid precautions and maintained that more such inspections and checking will be carried out in the district.
Tehsildar Samba Raman Chalotra and police personnel were also part of the team.
