NEW DELHI, May 30: ABG Shipyard today reported 11 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 45.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.
The private shipbuilder had reported a net profit of Rs 40.66 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
Total income of the company during the period rose to Rs 663 crore from Rs 532 crore a year ago, it said in a filing to BSE.
ABG Shipyard’s consolidated net profit for 2011-12 was, however, down to 186 crore against Rs 194 crore in 2010-11. (PTI)
