KATHUA, Apr 9: Former minister and president DCC Kathua, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma slammed Modi led NDA Govt at the Centre for growing unemployment and continued protests by farmers in the country.
While addressing public meeting at village Panchayat Badoli , in Kandi belt of Billawar Assembly segment today, Ex-MLA Manohar Lal cornered the Central Government on the issues like unemployment , farmers’ protest, and fuel price  and said that it is time for the Prime Minister to listen to “Desh Ki Baat” instead of saying his ‘Man ki Baat’ on radio.
Sharma further criticized the NDA Government for not being able to find a  solution to the issues of the farmers. “The PM and all of the Cabinet ministers are busy campaigning in poll-bound states. But they don’t have the time to address the grievances of the farmers which are camping in Delhi,” he added.
DCC leader said that the BJP-led Central Government has failed to create job opportunities despite promising in its manifesto to create two crore jobs. The Modi Government has enacted policies that destroyed India’s economic structure. The unemployment is bound to rise further due to the mismanagement of the economy and lockdown, Sharma said.
“The Centre has cheated youth, farmers, soldiers and every common man of this nation. The entire nation saw laborers walking on foot, farmers on roads against agriculture laws, unemployed youth demanding jobs, rising prices of petrol-diesel-LPG, budget cut for education, soldiers dying in vain at borders but this Government in its arrogance has failed to do anything,” he maintained.
Sharma said Modi Government must wake from deep slumber and take necessary measures to arrest the continuous down slide by addressing these issues.
Also present on the occasion were Devinder Singh Bindu, Hira Lal Abrol, Kulbhushan Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Surinder Singh, KC Khajuria, Rashpal Singh, Kamal Singh, Dalbir Sethi, Swarn Singh, Chamail singh and others.
