Jammu Maxi Cab & Special Taxi Operator Union holds meet

JAMMU, Apr 10: Jammu Maxi Cab and Special Taxi Operator Union BC Road Jammu held general body meeting under the presidentship of Vijay Kumar Dogra, in which all the members took part.
In the meeting, all the genuine demands of the drivers were heard and some of which were resolved and other were familiarized to the higher authorities.
While speaking, Vijay Kumar Dogra said that the drivers of the association shall abide all traffic rules including wearing uniform, carrying all documents, no overloading and no rash driving, union members behaviour towards their clients should be polite and positive and the members of the union do not behave harshly with their clients.
He added that the association members have right to make written complaint against agents of the union if they do not behave properly with the associated members of the union.
He also asked all the participants to follow all SOPs issued in wake of COVID-19 pandemic including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and use of sanitizers.
Among others present were Harbans Choudhary, Chairman, Sandeep Singh, Vice President, Pawandeep Singh, General Secretary, Surjeet Singh, Joint Secretary, Rajinder Singh, Secretary, Gurpreet Singh, Cashier and other executive members.
