Shiv Sena demands deportation of Rohingyas

JAMMU, Apr 11: Activists of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena led by their president, Ashok Gupta here today staged a protest demonstration demanding deportation of Rohingyas from Jammu city.
The protesters claimed that Rohingyas pose security threat to the nation and had an active role in Sunjwan terror attack on military base in which six soldiers and a civilian were killed.
Addressing protesters Ashok Gupta said that locals of Jammu were happy on the start of process of deporting Rohingyas back to their country.
He claimed that Rohingyas crossed two international borders to reach Jammu and they are trained in cutting fences, digging tunnels etc.
“In the past few days various tunnels were discovered by security forces at Indo-Pak border wherein involvement of Rohingyas cannot be ruled out,” Gupta maintained.
He said that settlement of Rohingyas in Jammu was intended to change demography as they these immigrants have surrounded entire Jammu and military installations.
The Shiv Sena leader said, “Supreme Court has said that Rohingyas should be deported but with due process. Now the Central Government should start the process to deport them.”
Birbal, Sushil, Krishan, Lal Singh, Bantu, Ashish, Suresh, Janki, Pajo and others were also present in the protest.
