One killed, 4 injured in accidents

SRINAGAR, June 4: A minor girl was killed and four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, police today said.
Lubna Jan, 5, daughter of Farooq Ahmad Mir of Bulbul Nowgam was killed by a school bus bearing registration number JK03B/3350 at Anantnag. Police said they have registered a case in this regard.
Police today said a truck bearing registration number JK04A/4761 skidded off the road and turned turtle near SEE Check Post, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to driver Rakesh Kumar son of Shankar Dass of Udhampur. Kumar was shifted to Qazigund Hospital for treatment. Police said a case has been registered.
A motorcyclist was today injured when an unidentified vehicle hit him near Bilal colony, KP Road, Anantnag. Police said the motorcyclist has been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Peer son of Irshad Ahmad of Pehru, Mattan. Peer was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A girl, Fatima daughter of Ghulam Nabi Reshi and a minor girl Mehak Javid daughter of Javid Ahmad Reshi of Palpora were today injured when a Maruti car bearing registration number JK09/0559 hit them at Palpora, Police said. They were shifted to SKIMS Bemina for treatment. Police said they have registered a case.
