MENDHAR, Apr 12: One person was killed while two others injured in a road accident in Mendhar area of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that a Tata Sumo vehicle bearings registration No JK12 -1165 coming from Chuanga village towards Mendhar met with an accident at Jaghal at around 8:45 am today, in which three persons were seriously injured.
The victims identified as Mohd Sadiq (70), son of Faqir Din, residence of Chhungan, Safaida Bi (45), wife of Mohd Mushtaq, residence of Chhungan and Mohd Jameel (62), son of Bader Din, resident of Bhatidar, were shifted to SDH Mendhar by the local of the area.
Mohd Jameel, was referred to GMC Rajouri who succumbed to his injuries there. The police has registered a case at Mendhar Police Station in this connection.
