Damaged schools

Sir,
It is reported that around 200 school buildings have been damaged in earthquake that hit Chenab Valley on May 1. These building which are fully or partially damaged in this devastating earthquake should be closed in interest of the safety of students and staff.
However, the authorities should settle the issue at the earliest so that academic session may not suffer. Suitable arrangements should be made where students could continue their studies. It is not possible to take classes in the open keeping in view vagaries of weather. Besides, teachers need the support of teaching aids which most of the times are used only in classrooms. In the open, there is lot of distraction which may affect the quality of teaching.
The Government in association with NGOs should erect prefabricated structures to  enable students continue their studies.
Yours etc….
