SRINAGAR, June 5: Police today said two bodies were recovered at two different places in the valley.
The body of a mentally challenged, 65, Ghulam Hassan Chopan, who was missing since May 2 was fished out from river Lidder, in Ashmuqam, Islamabad. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites, a police statement said.
Police recovered an unidentified male body of about 50 years from the banks of Wullar Lake near Larwapora. After conducting all legal formalities, the body of the deceased is lying in District Hospital Bandipora, for identification.
