JAMMU, Apr 16: Bakshi Nagar Police seized 73 kilograms polythene bags and arrested one person.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Ravi Kant laid a naka and signalled a Tata Mobile bearing registration number PB06G-2414.
On seeing police cops, the driver accelerated the vehicle and tried to escape, but cops chased and intercepted the Tata Mobile.
During checking, police team recovered 73 kilograms polythene bags from the vehicle and arrested the driver.
The arrested person was identified as Rohit Sharma, son of Roshan Lal, a resident ofPathankote Punjab.
Bakshi Nagar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
