JMC Councillor starts tile work

JAMMU, Apr 16: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Anu Bali here today started tile work at Hari Nagar area of Rehari Colony in Ward 24 at the cost of Rs 25 lakh.
Tiles of the area were in dilapidated condition since long and the locals there especially elder were facing a lot of problems while passing through these lanes.
The Councillor while speaking on the occasion appealed the public to cooperate JMC in various development works undertaken in Jammu city.
She urged upon the locals to avoid single use plastic and polythene in their routine work and refrain from throwing debris and garbage in drains.
Bali asked locals of the Ward to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
She appealed to the public to wear masks and practice social distancing and avoid wandering out unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on the rise.
Chandan Kholi, Adarash Gupta, Sushma Gupta, Dawanjeet Singh, Sanjeev Sidhu, Rajinder Panday, Sahil Kholi, Rajesh Basin, Rajesh Gupta and others were present also present on the occasion.
