JAMMU, Apr 16: A delegation led by Deepak Gupta and Sunny Mehra president, SatwariNarwal Pain Mandi and Rahul Kumar shopkeeper and Vidash Dalmotra submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg for providing ex-gratia to the loss sufferers of Narwal Pain Satwari Fruit Mandi fire incident victims yesterday.
Deepak Gupta highlighted the issues before the DC, Jammu and demanded immediate relief to the aggrieved shopkeepers of Rs. 25000 per head. Deputy Commissioner while giving his sympathies to the loss sufferers said that the Government is going to help the needy one in the times of crisis and will do everything possible from his end to support the fire sufferers.
Deepak further said that other Markets Associations should come forward and help those in the time of need. Sunny Mehra said that the Market Association has calculated the loss and submitted the report to the concerned SHO. He appealed the administration for speedy relief to be given to them.
