JAMMU, June 5: Noted religious Guru, Swami Hari Chaitnya Puriji Maharaj has said that materialistic things and love for them can not provide inner peace and `Mukti’ to the human beings.
While delivered religious discourse to his devotees and followers at Geeta Bhawan, Parade Ground, here this evening, the Swami ji stressed for selfless service, maintaining peace and brotherhood, respect all the religions, adoption of simplicity and patience in every situation. He asked the people to shun love for materialistic things as they are the source of pain and pride. Such things can never provide inner peace and Mukti. He said a person is only loved, respected and remembered by generations only for his/ her noble deeds and good acts.
Referring to role of great Saints and prophets, the religious Guru said that Love is God and every religion and prophet has always taught the people to follow the same. He said a great soul never creates differences with his friends and foes but showers love and sympathy to all irrespective of any kind of enmity. He said Satguru shows you the path of eternal happiness. With strong determination and devoted services and chanting of His name, the God will free us from materialistic world.
